Arab fans ‘advised’ Ronaldo to retire because he was ‘too bad’

In this match, Ronaldo started for Al Nassr and played the full 90 minutes but did not leave any mark. Even the Al Wehda team received a red card in the 53rd minute, but Ronaldo and his teammates Al Nassr could not win. Al Nassr eventually lost 0-1 and was eliminated from the King’s Cup of Saudi Arabia.

Immediately after the match, Arab fans expressed anger on Twitter and simultaneously called for Ronaldo to “retire”. The account @unrulyking00 wrote with a sarcastic tone: “Ronaldo is a great player… he just needs a great coach who will encourage him to retire.”

Account a99099020 wrote: “In front of an opponent who is one of the weakest teams in the tournament and played more than people in the last 40 minutes, Ronaldo and the Al Nassr players lost. There is no excuse for this defeat.”

Sports Brief also criticized Ronaldo’s poor performance, commenting: “He (Ronaldo) displayed a disappointing number in the first half, furious on the technical bench and completely unbelievable after the hour. The final whistle blew.”
